The Oxford University yacht racing team scored a decisive victory against Cambridge at this year's Yachting Varsity Match, winning five races out of seven and ending Cambridge's three-year winning streak.

Oxford Blue win South Central BUSA Qualifiers

As Storm Imogen approached the UK over the weekend, three Oxford teams battled tough conditions at the BUCS/BUSA Team Racing Qualifiers. Oxford Blue took first place with 11/12 wins in the South Central region.


Oxford University Yacht Club is the club for students with a passion for sailing. We cater for experienced racers and casual sailors, beginners and veterans.


We offer social sailing opportunities twice a week in Trinity Term at Farmoor in dinghies, as well as yacht cruising in the Solent over the summer. Our racing squads train all year round. Find out more!
